pleaded guilty to driving with close to three times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.

Lloyd Henderson of King Street, pleaded guilty to the offence in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette said Police were called to Union Street on June 15 where a road traffic accident had taken place.

There they found a white van with extensive damage to its front facing toward the south side of the street.

It appeared that Henderson struck the house, causing damage to the outer walls.

Police also noticed that his breath smelled of alcohol. A breath test revealed that he had 222 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis fined Henderson $450 and disqualified him from all vehicles for 12 months.
