McNeil Wilson, 32, has been in and out of the courts, prison, drug rehabilitation programmes and probation services since 1996 and stolen over $10,000 worth of goods, bikes, cash and a boat.

Wilson pleaded guilty to an additional 15 offences, including motorcycle theft, failing to stop for Police, dangerous driving, breaking into a decked vessel, receiving stolen goods, shop breaking, office breaking, no third party insurance, driving an unlicensed bike and no valid driver's licence.

Crown counsel Graveney Bannister read over six pages of evidence regarding Wilson's new charges to Magistrate Edward King.

Mr. King said: "As much as I would like to help him, I can't sentence him to any more than 24 months.

"Even if I was to give him consecutive sentences, as far as I'm concerned, I think it's better to send him up there to Supreme Court.'' Renee Foggo, for Wilson, asked for an alternative sentence but Mr. King was unmoved.
