The fire service used hydraulic cutting gear to free the Pembroke men after the car had struck a wall, in Happy Dale Road.

Both men received serious injuries. The driver, aged 24, is said to be in a serious condition in intensive care at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

The passenger, aged 24, sustained a broken jaw when the Hyundai Excell car struck the wall.
