A large amount of household items were stolen from the garden shed of a property in Long Ridge Pass, Devonshire, sometime overnight on Wednesday.

A thief entered the shed using force and made off with the undisclosed goods.

And several things, including a Sony Playstation and walkman, a number of items of clothing and jewellery, cash and a VCR were stolen when thieves broke into a house in West Park Lane in Pembroke sometime on Thursday.

Some of these items were later recovered outside of a nearby house.

Police also received a report that a gold necklace had been stolen from a house in Anchorage View Lane, St. George's. The thief had gained entry to the property through an unsecured window.

PERCUSSION GROUP CAN'T BE BEAT ENT Percussion group can't be beat Tonight the Bermuda Festival features a concert by the Ethos Percussion Group with Word at the Ruth Seaton James Centre for the Performing Arts. Tickets are available at the door. Next Saturday, the Bermuda Conservatory of Music and the Bermuda Academy of Music are hosting a combined concert at the same venue.
