Mr. Giuliani has been at the school at Tivoli since September and he has received "overwhelming support'' from parents.

The current Campaign for Excellence aims to raise $100,000 for school facilities.

Spokesperson Mrs. Jill Faulks said: "Half of this sum has already been raised, mostly from parents, before the corporate community has even been approached.

"It is particularly heartening that support has come from families of pupils expecting to attend the school for several more years.''
