Patti-Jean Robinson pleaded guilty to each of the offences between October and November last year -- admitting to the court that she had a problem.

Magistrates Court heard how Robinson, whose three children are not in her care, was found to be in possession of drug equipment on both October 12 and November 16.

On the second occasion she also had in her possession cannabis, which she said was for her own use, and traces of heroin, which were found on the drug utensils.

She admitted two counts of possession of drug equipment, and possession of cannabis and heroin.

The unemployed 40-year-old, who lives in Cedar Park, Devonshire, said she did not wish to say anything, but admitted that she did need help.

She said although she was not working, if she was fined she could ask some friends to help her pay it.

Senior Magistrate Archie Warner said: "If I fine you, someone else will pay it. You will just come back and do it again.

"A fine means nothing to you. What else can I do with you? Do you agree that you need help?'' To which she replied "yes''.

Mr. Warner adjourned the case until April 20 for social inquiry reports to be carried out.

The complainant said that the cash was removed from a storeroom sometime during the day.

Police reported that there were no signs of forced entry.
