yesterday appeared together in Magistrates' Court for the last time.

Justis Raham Smith, 18, of Deepdale Road East, and Kirk Orlando Mundy, 23, a Jamaican national of Brunswick Street, are expected to be tried in the Supreme Court for the killing of 17-year-old Ms Middleton nearly two years ago.

The teenager was found with stab wounds on Ferry Reach, St. George's in the early morning hours of July 3, 1996.

Mundy originally pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact and is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for the offence.

But prosecutors recently won the right to charge him with murder due to alleged new medical evidence.
