Mr. Warner was speaking before dismissing charges against Dwight Hatherley, who was accused of stalking a 29-year-old German woman.

He said the case was, at the time of the report, sub judice, and therefore a reasonable person could construe the report as an attempt to influence the court.

He went on to say that The Royal Gazette must uphold the law just like everyone else, and added that notwithstanding the article, he had considered the case purely on the facts before the court.
