Smith, of Princess Estate Road, Pembroke, pleaded guilty to driving while impaired. He also pleaded guilty to not possessing a valid driver's licence.

Police prosecutor, Sgt. Anthony Mouchette, told Magistrates' Court that on August 19, this year, Police saw Smith driving his motorbike erratically along Dutton Avenue, Marsh Folly Road and Blackwatch Pass, where he was stopped.

Sgt. Mouchette said the Police officers noticed Smith was unsteady on his feet.

He was given a breath test and the results showed he had 252 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80.

Mr. Francis fined Smith $150 for no driver's licence and $400 for driving while impaired. He also banned Smith from driving all vehicles for 12 months.
