The story, which reported the completion of a Police fraud investigation into the failed company, featured the headline: "Peniston file handed to Attorney General.'' "I wish to express my concern over the headline,'' Mr. Peniston said yesterday.

"It is a fact that in the process of liquidation that the affairs of the company were being investigated by both the liquidators and the Police.

"The company was owned by eight shareholders and run by a board of directors, a chairman of the board along with at least three other directors of which I was one.

"It is extremely unfair to continue to have a presentation of these facts slanted in such a way that it represents a personal file rather than a company file.

"I only ask that the media understand that this sort of headline is surely damaging to me personally and particularly savaging to my family.''
