He said Police were particularly interested in speaking to two taxi drivers.

One was driving a white cab with a young man and woman as passengers, who were heading from Middle Road to the area of the Augustus Funeral Home in Pembroke, just after 3 a.m. on Saturday.

About an hour later, between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., another taxi took two men from the area of the funeral home to Middle Road in Devonshire.

And Police are also appealing to the person who dialled 911 from a cell phone at the scene of the accident, and anyone else who was in the area between 3 a.m. and 3.30 a.m..
