The Police officer in the passenger seat sustained cuts to his face. He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and released after treatment.

Yesterday afternoon another Police car became a target again.

P.c. Venning said a Police car was hit by rocks on Curving Avenue, Pembroke around 2 p.m. when Police went to impound a car.

It was not known whether the incident was related to Operation Cleansweep.

And some ten minutes earlier, a man guarding the St. Augustine Church was the targeted by two men tossing objects.

Bottles were thrown at a security guard, patrolling the church on St.

Augustine Hill, Pembroke, which was being fumigated.

Police said the two men took the guard's glasses and radio.

The security guard was not hurt during the incident.
