approximately 10.00 a.m. following reports of the sighting of escaped prisoner Michael Cleveland Gibbons.

The Police Media and Community Relations office reports that 22-year-old Gibbons was recaptured near Devon Springs apartments following a foot chase involving numerous officers.

Last Friday Gibbons climbed out of a window at Police Headquarters in Prospect just before he was due to participate in an identification parade.

He is presently being held at Hamilton Police Station.
