And Police Commissioner Mr. Lennett (Lennie) Edwards has ordered a full investigation into how Roger Eugene Lightbourne escaped.

Lightbourne, 24, of Hartle Drive, near Sound View Road, Sandys, had been arrested and detained at the station on suspicion of committing a criminal offence.

Police refused to discuss details of the escape because of the ongoing investigation. And they refused to reveal the crime Lightbourne is suspected of committing for the same reason.

He is described as Bermudian, with dark brown skin, six feet tall, and weighing about 170 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a green jacket, a white Camel T-shirt, black jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information which would lead to his recapture can call 911 or the Police codaphone, 296-1140. All calls will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Police are still looking for two runaways from the Youth Development Centre.

Kenneth Boyles, who had been missing from the Government care facility for about a month, returned on his own last Friday after a Police appeal. But later that same day the 15-year-old went missing again, Police said.

Delton Burchall, 15, who returned to the facility after being missing for six days, also left again on Friday.
