The store manager agreed to reimburse the "unfortunate shopper'' for her losses.

On Tuesday evening, a Birdcage Lane, Paget apartment was broken into. The culprit made an untidy search of the premises and stole two packets of cigarettes.

A Harbour Radio spokesman said they received a call regarding the man from the 7,000 gross ton, liquefied gas carrier Norgas Voyager at around 4 p.m. on Monday.

The Norwegian ship was 430 miles east of Bermuda, en route to Houston, Texas from England, when a crew member was hit by a large wave.

The injured man was off-loaded and taken to the hospital with a suspected broken arm and head lacerations. His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
