snatch on Richmond Road in Pembroke.

His intended victim was walking just before 1 a.m. on Saturday when the man rode up behind her and tried to grab her bag.

During the struggle the suspect was pulled to the ground but got back on his bike and rode away without the bag.

The suspect was later arrested at a home in Rockville Lane and was taken to Hamilton Police Station where he helped Police with their inquiries.
