A Police spokesman said a Court Street man told Police someone entered his home through an unlocked window and stole a number of items including a bag containing several pieces of jewellry.

And a Ewing Street man said his apartment was entered at about noon on Monday and a black leather case containing two watches was taken along with a video camera.

Elsewhere a woman reported that her car was broken into while parked at the Number One Shed parking lot on Monday.

Nothing was stolen from the white Mitsubishi Colt but the ignition system was damaged.
