One accident involved a 36-year-old Warwick motor cyclist who was travelling east along Curving Avenue in Pembroke at 2.45 a.m. yesterday.

He was involved in a collision with a utility pole and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with serious head injuries.

Another accident involved a 27-year-old motor cyclist who was involved in a collision with a Nissan Sunny driven by a 51-year-old Pembroke man at 1.15 a.m. yesterday on Harbour Road at the junction of Stowe Hill.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged and the motor cyclist received cuts and abrasions. The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
