Warwick yesterday.

Police were alerted following reports of a Warwick teenager violently resisting arrest.

Officers raced to the junction of Middle Road and Khyber Pass, Warwick, at about 11.30 a.m. As they did so, the struggle continued until the teenager started to run.

A Policeman fell over an eight foot drop but was able to hold on to the youth until he began running again. The teenager fled until apprehended at a relative's home on Bulkhead Drive.

Both the Policeman and the suspect were hurt after a window inside the apartment was broken.
