The Hamilton Princess was the only Island-based hotel to rate a mention for "world's best service'' in Travel and Leisure magazine, rating number five out of the top five hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Bahamas region.

Topping the list was the Four Season Resort in Nevis; Caneel Bay Resort in the US Virgin Islands; The Hyatt Regency in Grand Cayman; and the Little Dix Bay Hotel in the British Virgin Islands.

Meanwhile the Southampton Princess held down the number 14 position in Gourmet magazine's readers poll of "favourite beach hotels.'' MAGAZINES NJ AWARD AWD
