after pleading guilty to possessing cocaine.

Ryan Ball, of Rock Valley, Warwick, admitted to the offence which occurred on February 1.

Magistrate the Wor. John Judge heard that Police approached Ball and another youngster near Pembroke Hamilton Club (PHC) in Warwick around 6.20 p.m. that day.

After a Police search of both youths, .62 grams of cocaine were found in the underlining of Ball's jacket, Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting, said.

The cocaine was 81 percent pure.

Ball, who has a conviction on a similar matter, was placed on probation and ordered to attend Addiction Services.

"I'm very concerned that this young man of age 19 uses cocaine,'' Mr. Judge said. "One thing I don't want to see is a young man like you on the threshold of life throw it all away.''
