The public have been warned to watch out for Police driving at high speed until March 19.

The Bermuda Police Service Driving School is conducting an advanced driving course for officers. It will mean up to two marked cars could be travelling at high speed, with blue lights and sirens at times.

A spokesman said the course is necessary to ensure that officers are trained to the highest and safest possible standards.

COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS IN SPOTLIGHT UNS TOU Collective bargaining agreement in spotlight A meeting seeking to ratify a collective bargaining agreement between the Hotel Division of the Bermuda Industrial Union and the Hotel Employers of Bermuda will be held today.

The BIU members have to give the offering the thumbs-up for the final two years of the agreement to be put in place.

A meeting was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at BIU headquarters but did not get off the ground because organisers wanted more people to attend.

The last three year collective bargaining agreement between the two sides expired in February, 1998, and a one year agreement was put in place in June.
