yesterday sentenced to three months in prison.

Jomo Trew, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to causing bodily harm and grievous bodily harm to his father Robert Trew, and to assaulting a Police officer.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette said Trew approached his 69-year-old father, who was sitting in a car on St. Paul's Lane in Paget, on July 9.

After a short conversation, Trew leaned through the window and punched his father in the face.

Sgt. Mouchette added that Trew rode to his father's Warwick Lane house on July 12 and punched his father on the arm.

He then asked his father for some money. And when his father refused Trew punched him in the mouth, causing his father's false teeth to fall out.

Mr. Trew required three stitches to his mouth.

Police later saw Trew riding along South Road in Warwick.

When he was told he was under arrest, Sgt. Mouchette said, he punched and kicked at a female officer and escaped.

Trew was later seen on Somerset Road and arrested.
