Court yesterday, but were not required to enter pleas. Both will face trial in Supreme Court at a later date.

One of the men was a 22-year-old Warwick resident who is accused of raping an 18-year-old girl in Southampton on September 14.

He was bailed in the sum of $1,000 plus a like surety and ordered to have "no contact whatsoever'' with the girl.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis ordered him to reappear on December 29 for mention.

The second man, a 28-year-old Southampton resident, was accused of raping a 16-year-old girl on July 21. A preliminary inquiry date was set down for January 4 at 9 a.m. in Magistrates' Court.

The man was further charged with indecently assaulting two women on July 15 in Warwick.

He admitted one of the assault charges, but the Crown was not ready to proceed so Mr. Francis set both matters down for hearing on May 21 in the lower court.
