MAN ATTACKED CRM Man attacked Police are seeking five men who carried out an unprovoked attack on a man at a Paget ice cream parlour.

A 29-year-old Hamilton Parish man claims he was standing at the counter of the Ice Queen, on Middle Road, when he was attacked, around 3.30 a.m. yesterday.

The man said he was attacked for no apparent reason, and the fight ended up in the kitchen of the restaurant.

Police were called to the Ice Queen but the culprits had left. Although no-one was seriously injured, some damage was caused to the property.

BREAK-IN CLUE CRM Break-in clue Detectives are hoping that a distinctively marked jewellery box can lead them to thieves who broke into a house in Devonshire.

They are appealing for help in tracing the large cedar box which was stolen recently from the house on North Shore Road.

The box, which contained an assortment of costume jewellery, is inscribed with the name "Suzanne'' and maps of Bermuda and Africa.

Anyone who can provide information regarding the box is asked to contact Detective Constable Tracy Adams at CID, or anonymous callers can phone 295- 1140.

PARROT SNATCHED CRM Parrot snatched A talkative parrot was snatched this week by a thief.

The bird and its cage were taken from a property at Prism Heights, off St.

Anne's Road, Southampton, between 12.30 a.m. and 1.30 a.m. on Thursday.

Police say the parrot is mostly grey, with a red patch on its tail, while the 24 x 36in cage is brass. Anyone who can help recover the parrot should call Somerset Police.

CITY MUGGING CRM City mugging A 73-year-old Hamilton Parish man was robbed of $340 after being pushed to the ground by two thugs.

The incident occurred at around 11 p.m. on Wednesday on Front Street, near the junction with King Street, Hamilton.

LOST AND FOUND POL Lost and found A 14-year-old boy, who had been missing from home for three days, is safe and well. Kenneth Boyles has returned to his Observatory Cottage home in Devonshire. Police started a search for Kenneth on Tuesday.

CASH STOLEN CRM Cash stolen A sneak thief stole $220 from the wallets of two men while they were swimming off Somerset Long Bay at around 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
