stitches when she was involved in a road traffic accident with an intermediate truck on Tuesday evening.

The truck driver, a 45-year-old Smith's Parish man, was uninjured in the collision which occurred as he was pulling out onto Harrington Sound Road.

The woman was on a cycle and travelling east when she was involved in the collision. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired.
