after he pleaded guilty to riding an auxiliary cycle with more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.

James Chouffot of Harbour Road, pleaded guilty to the offence which occurred on Wednesday morning.

Sgt. Peter Giles, prosecuting, said Police officers were operating a radar near Pomander Road and The Lane in Paget.

They saw Chouffot pass their location traveling in a westerly direction at about 57 k.p.h.

When he was stopped, officers saw that Chouffot's eyes were glazed and he had difficulty placing his cycle on its stand.

A breath test revealed he had 203 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
