an accident in which two men were injured.

And officers investigating the incident have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.

The call came after an incident at 4.50 p.m. on Friday involving the black bike, another cycle and a car.

The black bike appeared to hit a bike carrying two people, which then slewed into a white Toyota car.

The 19-year-old rider of the other bike fell into the road, suffering road rash on his legs and his 18-year-old pillion passenger was taken to hospital suffering from head injuries. Neither man is thought to be seriously injured.

The rider of the black cycle, who avoided the pile-up, did not stop and was last seen heading west on South Road, Paget.

The accident happened on the Paget stretch of South Shore Road outside the entrance to the Stonington Beach Hotel.
