controlled drug has been delayed a third time.

Kirk Roberts, 38, of West Side Road, Sandys Parish appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday for mention for allegedly passing the prescription drug Lorazepam to his mother last June.

The alleged incident took place while Barbara Roberts was in Police custody during an Appeals Court hearing to have her 12-year prison sentence reduced.

The drug Lorazepam is a prescription medication used to treat anxiety and help sleep.

Yesterday, Roberts said he had been in court three times before and nothing had been resolved. He also said he spent a lot of money on lawyers and missed time at work. Senior Magistrate Will Francis said the Crown should get its act together and granted Roberts $500 bail to return on December 13 for trial.
