Sharina Anne Tuzo, 18, and Jermaine Noel Pearman, 26 both of Bob's Valley, Sandys Parish, were charged with manslaughter and murder, respectively, in the death of Saed Rami Nadir Young.

Colin Clive Andrew Cave, originally from Rochester, New York, pleaded not guilty to 24 false accounting charges and 12 stealing charges.

The allegedly offences occurred between July 25, 1995 and December 14, 1995 and totaled more than $50,000.

Cave will also return to Court on April 1 for mention.

A car salesman pleaded not guilty in Supreme Court for allegedly stealing nearly $58,000 from his employer.

Morris Michael Botelho, of Cherry Dale, Knapton Hill, Smith's, pleaded not guilty to stealing $40,060.60 from Holmes Williams & Purvey Suzuki Centre sometime between November 25, 1996 and February 17, 1997.

He also denied stealing a total of seven Suzuki cycles, worth more than $17,000 between January 28 and February 13, 1997.

Botelho will return to court on April 1 for mention.

Suspected armed robber Randolph Granville Lightbourne also appeared for mention in yesterday's arraignment session.

Lightbourne, 30, of Devon Springs Road, Devonshire, has pleaded not guilty to armed robbery charge, denied using a Colt .45 automatic pistol to steal $70,000 during a raid and two charges of unlawful wounding during the robbery.

Lightbourne will return to court on March 16 for mention.

Gregory Ryan Ashby, 37, of Pembroke, will have to return to court on April 1 to find out if his case will go ahead on April 6.

Ashby has pleaded not guilty to importing cannabis between February 14 and February 21, 1997.

He also denied possessing the drug and handling it with intent to supply on February 21, 1997.

Adelle Laura Roberts, 34, of Somerset Road, Sandys Parish, also appeared briefly for mention yesterday.

Last month, she pleaded not guilty to a single charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

Construction worker Craig Walter Astwood, 30, died as a result of a collision between his bike and a van on September 10, 1996, at the junction of South Road and Horseshoe Road in Southampton.

Roberts, who was represented by lawyer Mark Diel, had her $3,500 bail extended to reappear in court on April 1 to set a trial date.

A 79-year-old Pembroke grandfather, charged with incest and the sexual exploiting his granddaughter sometime between June 1 and September 30, 1993, was ordered to return to court on April 1.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has denied both charges.

His trial date will be set during his next court appearance.

Heman Viera, of Kyber Heights, Warwick, who has denied robbing a man of his wallet on October 18 of last year and robbing a second man of $310 in cash on October 19 of last year, was remanded in custody to return for mention on March 16.

The trio who allegedly carried out a $38,000 bank raid also will have to wait until next month to set their trial dates.

Yusef DeSilva, Rupert Archibald and Michael Dillas have all denied any part in the armed robbery of the Bank of Bermuda's Somerset branch on April 9 of last year.

DeSilva, of Cobbs Hill Road, Warwick, and Archibald, of Rockywold Drive, Sandys, have each pleaded not guilty to threatening two bank workers with a firearm and using the weapons to carry out the robbery.

Dillas, of Stovell Bay Lane, Pembroke, has denied three charges of being an accessory and helping DeSilva and Archibald to carry out the offence.

The trio were remained in custody to return to court on April 1. Suspected drugs supplier Eugene Levi Robinson, who was arrested during Operation Cleansweep in May, was told to return to court next month to have a trial date fixed.

Robinson, of Bobs Valley Lane, Sandys, has pleaded not guilty to supplying "small amounts'' of cannabis on May 10 and May 11 of last year.
