Collector of Customs Bill LeDrew said: "There are no outstanding grievances needing to be resolved or issues that haven't been addressed.

"I am disappointed that if there is something that staff would have chosen this way to deal with it.

"We were able to resolve it very quickly by redeploying staff. We'll speak to employees in the morning and find out what the situation was today.

"But frankly I am perplexed.'' And BPSA General Secretary Ed Ball said he was equally flummoxed. He said: "I don't know anything -- I am completely in the dark. Even our own people there don't know.''
