Terry Eugene Darrell, 43, who was convicted of importing nearly $200,000 of cannabis into the Island in the false floor of a crate, will be sentenced on March 10.

Paco Teleph Fubler, who is charged with murdering golf caddy Brian Earl Sherlock almost six years, was further remanded in custody.

Crown counsel Peter Eccles said a detective who will give evidence and who was expected to have recovered from an illness, was back in hospital. Fubler will appear for mention on April 3.

Tyrone Calvin Simmons, 26, of Cottage Hill, Hamilton Parish, pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to import heroin, possession of heroin, and handling heroin.

Kelly Trott, 19, also of Cottage Hill, denies possession of heroin and handling the drug. Bail was continued for both accused.

Lorenzo Robinson, 19, will appear again for mention on April 3. He denies possession and importation of a bullet, and possession and importation of an explosive substance, fireworks.

Damon Randell Anderson, 18, appeared to plead not guilty importing cannabis, two counts of possession of the drug with intent to supply, and possession of equipment connected to the misuse of drugs. He will appear again on March 3.

Meanwhile, a 26-year-old man charged with two serious sexual assaults, demanded to be set free because he had not been charged.

The Pembroke man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been remanded in custody while a psychiatric report is prepared to assess if he is fit to plea.

He told Mr. Justice Ward: "I am not guilty. I demand the prosecution drop the charges.'' Mr. Justice Ward told him: "We'll keep you in a little longer and the doctors will find out if you're really sick or if you're playing the fool.''
