Troy Caines of Rose Hill admitted he drove an unlicensed, uninsured motorcycle at speeds up to 60k along South Road, Southampton on September 9. He was also charged with not having the proper driving licence to operate the bike.

Caines told the court he assumed he was automatically allowed to drive a motorcycle, since he was authorised to operate other vehicles.
