The teacher arrived at Saltus Cavendish School on Saturday evening and discovered several school items, including a tape recorder, stashed in a bag in the school building.

She then heard somebody in the bathroom and so quickly locked the intruder in before calling Police.

A 57-year-old man is now helping Police with their inquiries.
