Police prosecutor Sgt. Phil Taylor told the court Marco Lovell, 18, of St.

George's Parish was seen by a Police officer at around 4 p.m. with two bottles of alcohol. The officer watched as Lovell put one of the bottles up to his mouth then approached him, placed him under arrest and took him to St.

George's Police station where he was then processed.

Lovell pleaded guilty to the charge and was giving a conditional discharge for a period of a year. When asked why he had been drinking in public, Lovell answered, "I was just relaxing.''
