(Bom-Bom) Swan by recklessly driving a powerboat in September.

Gregory Talbot, 16, of Talbot Lane, was also charged with causing injury to Anthony Johnson by reckless driving, operating the powercraft in a dangerous manner and operating a power craft without due care and attention.

Talbot was charged yesterday following the incident in the Great Sound on Tuesday, September 1, when the 17-foot Ocean Arrow struck Lambda Island, near Hawkins Island.

Swan, 30, also of Smith's Parish, died instantly. Johnson needed surgery for serious head injuries.

The Crown represented by Solicitor General Mr. Barrie Meade supplied statements during a short form preliminary inquiry in front of Magistrate the Wor. John Judge, yesterday.

Talbot, on advice of his lawyer, Mr. Archibald Warner reserved his defence until a later hearing.

His case is to be heard in the Supreme Court. He was granted bail in the sum of $500.
