Teenage accused remanded
Rawlins -- was remanded in custody yesterday for another two weeks.
His lawyer Mark Pettingill told Senior Magistrate Will Francis he was not in a position to make a bail application.
He temporarily withdrew the application, and Mr. Francis remanded Straw until September 11.
Straw, of Palmetto Road, Devonshire is also accused of causing grievous bodily harm to Rawlins; causing unlawful bodily harm; and possessing an offensive weapon, a crowbar.
He and another man, not before the court yesterday, were arrested last Sunday in connection with the alleged assault which left 36-year-old Mr. Rawlins under intensive care at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Rawlins was found outside Fat Man's Cafe, off Palmetto Road, at around 3 a.m. last Sunday.
