Teenager badly burned in garage accident

The 19-year-old Pembroke man was working on the motorcycle at an Angle Street premises when a flammable liquid he was working with caused a burst of flames which scorched his legs.

The 19-year-old Pembroke man was working on the motorcycle at an Angle Street premises when a flammable liquid he was working with caused a burst of flames which scorched his legs.

He is on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with burns to his legs that were not life threatening.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances in the incident.

Police yesterday reported that foul play has been ruled out in the death of a 57-year-old Mr. Melvin Kennedy Aubrey.

Mr. Aubrey's body was found in Ferry Point Park around 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

An autopsy was expected to be carried out and a report sent to the Coroner's office.

A funeral service for Mr. Aubrey, who leaves a widow, two children and six step-children, will be held at Bethel AME Church Shelly Bay tomorrow at 1.30 p.m.
