were sky blue. He was tall and very intelligent. He was only nine years old and he was the same size as his father. His father always called him `twin brother', and that made him very angry. Tyler thought that one day he would run away.

One day Tyler woke up and he knew that this was going to be the day he ran away. He waited until his Mom and Dad fell asleep then he went downstairs and filled his bag with chicken and potato salad. He went back upstairs and got his favourite book, Charlotte's Web, his Winnie the Pooh bear two pairs of socks and his blanket. Then he crept back downstairs very quietly so that no-one would hear him. He went and got a picture of his house which was seashell pink with sky blue shutters. The picture frame had a little bit of sparkling glitter on it. He also took one of the pictures of his Mom and Dad.

He took his raincoat just in case it rained and he began walking.

Tyler talked and walked until he got tired. He sat down and took out his blanket and his Winnie the Pooh bear and his book from his bag. He sat there and read until he got really tired and fell asleep. When Tyler woke up he realized he was in the back of a truck.

He wondered how he got there. Who had found him and where were they taking him? He felt angry, hungry, sick, sad, disappointed and happy all at once. He began to think about his parents. He felt like he hated them and at the same time he loved them very much. He was very confused. Just then the driver stopped. He got out of the truck and opened the back. Tyler realized he was back in front of his own house. He ran inside and told his parents he would never, ever run away again and that was a promise.
