Cart and her golden touch has all of the items whispering, `take me' to the browsers.

Mrs. Stephens is the buyer of all merchandise brought in from overseas. With the help of the volunteers from the Storeroom and Hospitality Cart, she sees to the everyday running of things.

She said: "The volunteers all work together as a team and really enjoy what they are doing! Joan is the treasurer and local buyer and Irene, Mary, Rosita and Sheila keep the store and hospitality cart restocked.'' "The new shop is very attractive, bright and cheerful but we could have done with a little more space.'' They look forward to your continued patronage, have a terrific gift selection and extend warm smiles with their friendly service. These helpful volunteers seem to make every shopper feel special.

Do your Christmas shopping with ease from the new Gift shop while supporting a very admirable charity.

After shopping you can enjoy a refreshing cold drink or hot tea in the tranquillity of `The Pink Cafe' right next door.

The famous HAB Gift Shop team: Left to right: Irene Mello, June Stephens, Rosita Dunwoodie, Joan White, Mary Doughty, and Sheila Mayor. These wonderful volunteers make shoppers feel special.

A great twosome: Debbie Byrd, director of volunteer services employed by the Bermuda Hospitals Board, and Lena Ostroff, executive secretary of HAB.

Volunteers are vital to the hospitals.
