A crook snatched a green knapsack containing cash, identification and a man's watch from Horseshoe Bay Beach at 6.30 p.m. while the owner was in swimming.

In the second incident, the thief pretended to use a washroom in the storeroom of the Portofino restaurant in Bermudiana Road and removed two bags containing cash, credit cards, clothing and a man's gold ring.
