Jennifer Smith announced yesterday.

The ninth annual event, which is designed to recognise all those who work in the hospitality industry, will be put on this year by a diverse group.

The Hospitality Professionals Association are involved as normal, as are the Visitor Industry Partnership, whose chairman Eugene Blakeney said that this year's goal is to make the event bigger and better than ever.

They will be joined by the Bermuda Industrial Union, the Corporations of Hamilton and St. George's, the West End Development Corporation, the Bermuda Hotel Association, Select Sites and the National trust, to name a few.

Island-wide activities set to be held during the week include a song competition, a bartender competition, a soup competition, and a street festival in Hamilton.
