who attended an alarm activation at Francis Patton Primary School.

Tracey Harvey, 20, of 10 Winton Hill, and Ezekiel Lazarus Trott, 30, of St.

Augustine Lane, were charged with trespassing on the school's premises at North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish on July 24.

They told the Police after they were arrested that they went through an insecure window to the school's library.

Crown counsel Charmaine Smith told Senior Magistrate Will Francis Police went to the school at 12.55 a.m. after an alarm was activated. The officers saw Harvey and Trott huddled in a corner of the library.

Harvey and Trott pleaded guilty to trespassing and received fines of $100 and $200, respectively. Trott has previous convictions for unrelated matters.

Trott told Mr. Francis he and Harvey went to the library to shelter from the rain.

"I know that place like the back of my hand and I would take that with a lot of salt,'' he said.

"What happen to the bus shelter?'' Harvey apologised to the court and said such behaviour was out of character.
