who admitted stealing a case of whisky and receiving several other cases of alcohol.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Donald Grant said the vice president of Gosling Brothers, Mr. Edward Gosling, realised that someone was stealing cases of liquor from the warehouse between January and September 1994.

After Police conducted an investigation, they searched the home of Dennis Perinchief, of Hermitage Road, on September 22. He had been working in the warehouse at the time, delivering alcohol.

"Officers seized cases of rum, whisky, Bacardi, vodka, gin and Malibu. He admitted stealing some of the alcohol and said he was aware that the other cases, which he knew had been stolen, were being kept at his residence,'' Sgt.

Grant said.

When questioned by Police, Perinchief said he was planning to sell the alcohol.

Magistrate the Wor. Cheryl-Ann Mapp bailed Perinchief in the sum of $800 with a like surety until the reading of a social inquiry report on June 29.
