for 36 hours following rush hour this morning for roadworks.

From 9.30 a.m. motorists travelling along Middle Road between Heron Bay School and Waterlot Inn are advised to detour to South Shore Road, especially after 5 p.m. today and 7 a.m. tomorrow.

Bermuda Electric Light Company is digging up an open trench to repair an underground cable which feeds the Lighthouse Hill substation.

The repairs, which are expected to end at midday tomorrow, follow an outage on Saturday morning which affected 2,600 customers.
