Webster joins with Shanghai University
Business Administration degree in China.
For Webster University -- which also has a Bermudian campus -- has entered into a joint venture with the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE).
Webster president Richard S. Meyers said the programme will begin this fall and marks the first time a Chinese government-approved M.B.A. programme has been offered by an American university in China.
The course includes in-depth study of accounting, information systems, finance, operations, management, economics, statistical analysis and organisational behaviour and leadership.
The course content and curriculum will be controlled by Webster which will adapt the course to Chinese culture and highlight local applications of its practices and principles.
