ground waiting to be picked up. Fisherman would lose their jobs because there would be no water for the fish to live in.

In fact, everything that lived would die. Also, the sea gulls and thing that lived on creatures in the ocean would die.

Boats would lie on their sides and could be turned into houses or hotels. Some of the bigger Cruise ships could fall over and kill someone if they came to close. This would be dangerous so they would have to be chained to a wall.

Then, there would be buried treasure and lots of coral and pretty treasure and lots of coral and pretty clams around. A person would be able to catch lobsters.

Airplanes would go out of business because people could just drive across the ground from one place to another. In a way that could be better because if more gas stations were built then people would be happier going wherever they wanted.

But the only place we could go swimming would be in a pool. The people could build a pool two miles long to swim in.

If nobody cleaned away the fish, there would be a horrible stink, and this could be dangerous because of all the trash.

Even after the trash was burned in incinerators there would still be a problem! The hot weather causes vapours to rise from the sea water and go into the sky. When the clouds get heavy all the droplets of water that form while the vapours are rising, which we call rain, come pouring down on the earth.

If the rain doesn't fall the plants won't grow. That's what would happen if the water evaporated in the ocean.
