Where are the boys? Asks Christie

We asked seven-year-old Christie Kemp Hunter to give us her "professional'' assessment of the activities in which she participated last summer.

"Last summer, when I was six, I went to four different camps,'' said Christie. "One reason that I like the camps is that I meet people that I don't see at school.'' "Tumbling tots is not like gymnastics,'' Christie added. "It's more fun.

There were lots of games, ropes to swing on ... but there was only one boy in the whole group.'' Christie attended two swimming clubs. "One was in Southampton and the other in Somerset,'' she said. "Both of them were run by Miss Leslie Cherry who was really nice.

"I also went to Aqua camp. It was at the Aquarium and was really different because we were able to see so many animals and we swam as well. We learned the names of all the fish.'' On Computer Camp, Christie said: "Judy Smith was the organiser. We had a special room where we learned how to use the computer and we could write stories.

"There were lots of children but everyone had a computer. There were some good computer games, too.'' CHRISTIE KEMP HUNTER -- `I meet people that I don't see at school.'
