We are kind to each other and are happy to help each other. I am proud to be a Bermudian because we live on a lovely island with beaches that have crystal-blue water.

We can walk on pink sand and have picnics. We have pretty flowers that make Bermuda attractive. You will have a beautiful view from almost anywhere on the Island.

I am proud to be a Bermudian because we have a holiday called Bermuda Day which celebrates our heritage. We have a parade with floats, majorettes and gombeys. At Bernard Park we speak about our heritage and the Island. This is a proud day for all Bermudians.

I am proud to be a Bermudian because we are safe in most places. We are free to do whatever we want to do, except break the law. We have the freedom of speech. Some countries do not have any of these.

We have houses built out of stone with limestones roofs. We catch our water on our roofs, which is stored deep in our tanks. Most Bermuda houses are pastel colours.

The capital of Bermuda is Hamilton. In the city of Hamilton there are many buildings. Bermuda has nine parishes. They are: Sandy's, Southampton, Warwick, Paget, Pembroke, Devonshire, Smith's, Hamilton Parish and St. George's.

In each of these parishes there is something to be proud of. As you can see I am a proud Bermudian living in Bermuda.
