Wilson guilty of obstruction
man a $200 fine in Magistrates' Court.
Senior Magistrate Will Francis fined Ellsworth Eugene Wilson on Thursday after hearing the 44-year-old man became enraged shortly after midnight on Boxing Day on Court Street.
Junior Crown counsel Veronica Gordon told Mr. Francis a Police patrol noted Wilson's white Suzuki private car blocking the southbound lane of Court Street.
Officers saw Wilson talking to a pedestrian who was leaning into the passenger window.
Ms Gordon said when officers approached him, Wilson shouted: "I'm not blocking the road. This is bulls***!'' And pointing to one officer, he said: "Come and get me you little f***ing b*****d.'' Wilson was arrested and formally charged. He said nothing to Police.
When Mr. Francis asked him if he had anything to say, Wilson replied: "No, she's pretty well said it all. No sense in me saying nothing.'' Wilson added that he would pay the fine immediately.
